See the list of companies we represent This web site was launched in November of 1999. Millennium Insurance Agency started as a purchase by four partners who have been in the insurance agency for years. (There weren't personal computers back when they started.) Ken Gehrke, Terry Hayes, Millie Howle, and Dennis Mathis purchased Schreiber Insurance Agency in December of 1998. The corporation's name, Millennium Ventures LLC showed up on policies for nearly 10 years. Then the owners decided that Millennium was the real heart of the agency, so they took down the old Schreiber sign out front and put up the new one: Millennium Insurance Agency. Some of our agents have been here longer than the "new" owners. Katie Harris and Diana Hobbs are here after more than 15 years. Michael Kreg, who joined the agency within a few weeks of the purchase, has been with the agency for about 10 years. As a team, they had a vision of the agency becoming--not just a local insurance agency--but one with an internet presence that would eventually be able to offer quotes, service accounts, and even provide the ability to report insurance claims online. We have added secure connections so that quote information you enter is encrypted while being sent to us. The nature of the web has changed a bit since 1999, so we've done our best to change with it. Our customers made it clear they wanted to be able to talk to a person, to have us do the work instead of having them fill out lengthy forms online, and for most, the need for a piece of paper is still alive and well. That's what makes Millennium Insurance Agency so great. We were doing all of that long before the Internet. We're still happy to be available when you need us, to fill out those forms for you, and fax that paper wherever you need it to go. Millennium Insurance Agency offers insurance for auto, home, mobile home, life, health, business, as well as a wide variety of other coverages. Millennium Agency was originally founded in Farmington, New Mexico in 1957. Since then the office has moved a couple of times, Dennis retired in 2004, we've graduated from manual typewriters to the internet, and our services have greatly expanded. However, if you call our office you still get a human being on the phone that knows the New Mexico area well. And if you have a difficulty with a company, we'll fight for you. If it's after hours you always have the option to leave us a message and we'll get back to you. 2700 Farmington
Ave. Bldg. A, As an independent agency, we represent a variety of companies rather than just one. As we take a look at your needs--whether they be personal insurance or coverage for your business--we can find the right company and policy to fit your situation. A direct writer has only one company’s products to choose from. What happens if those products don’t fit your particular needs? Each year we add additional capabilities to our web site, such as the ability to request auto ID cards online, request quotes, and even make payments on certain policies. On our claims page, we have added links leading directly to our individual companies' web sites where you can turn in your claim online for those companies that offer that service. If they don't, we still have the toll-free numbers to call for faster service. We joined Group500, a nationwide network of insurance agents cooperating to provide coverages that might not normally be available. The key advantage of Millennium Insurance Agency over all of those other online insurance choices is that we still listen to our visitors and customers. If you would like to see something on our web site, let us know. You can be sure we will figure out a way to do it. Or if you want to talk to a person, we will have a human being here to help with your insurance needs during regular business hours. |
